Nicolae Tudoroiu
PresidentNicolae received his B.Eng. and the PhD degrees in 1976 and 1990, respectively, at the University of Craiova, Romania. In 2001, he received a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. From 1979 – 1994, he joined as an assistant and associate professor in the Automation department of the University of Craiova and West University “Polytechnic” Timisoara, Romania.
Since 2001 he has been working as a tenured professor in the Engineering Technologies department at John Abbott College, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Canada. His research interest is the modelling, identification, and state estimation of linear and nonlinear control systems.
Luca Sidoti
Vice President & Co-FounderLuca has been working with IT systems since 1999, first maintaining end-user systems in a school's library, then developing industrial control software for remote panel meter configuration and monitoring.
Over the course of the last 17 years, Luca has worked on many air-to-ground communications projects in the aviation industry. A graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, MA, he participated in the launch of the first paperless cockpit, and the evolution of ground message processing solutions.
He participated in the Brazilian DECEA AMDAR roll-out, which provided near real-time meteorological information from the Brazilian airspace to the WMO network to drive forecast models with improved accuracy.
